Purchasing a Top-Level-Domain for a blogger blog increases the Pageviews | Techinfoblog research

Our blog was originally a sub domain of blogger, yet there were not much page views on our blog. Day - by - Day, the page views were decreasing. So the view count was not good for the blogspot domain.

But,

After purchasing a domain , especially TLD's, the page views suddenly started increasing.

Why this happened ? Why the page views suddenly started increasing ? Here are the answers :

1] When I purchased the domain, that was a TLD , and Top Level Domains have good search ranking on Google.

2] The Page Rank automatically increased on Google.

3] I shared this Domain name on Facebook and I got more traffic from Facebook.

4] I submitted this site to Google Webmasters Tools and increased its presence on Google.

I also submitted a SITEMAP to Google Webmaster Tools. Thus, all the pages could be covered in Google webmaster tools search console.

5] Thus the rank of this site automatically increased and the page views increased too much day by day.

Change or create a Favicon for blogger blog

Hi, In this post, I am going to tell you "HOW TO CREATE A FAVICON IN BLOGGER".

Creating a Favicon for Your Blogger Blog is Quite interesting and easy.

You can create a Favicon on Photoshop, Paint or other software like Corel Draw, etc.

You can see our Favicon at the top of the page. I have created this Favicon using Adobe Photoshop. Having a custom favicon for your blog makes the visitor attracted towards your blog.

Lets See, How to Create and Upload a custom Favicon for your Blogger Blog.

[1] To create a Simple Colourful Favicon, Open Paint.

Go to Start ----> Accessories ----> Paint.

[2] After opening paint, in the home tab, click on the resize option.

[3] Now, Select Pixels radio button and and type "200" in Horizontal. "200" will be Automatically Added to Vertical, since Maintain Aspect Ratio is enabled.

[4] Now, you will see a 200 x 200 px box. You can choose more than 200px to for your convenience.

[5] Create a Favicon or fill Colours and Boxes as you Like. We have created a basic favicon to tell You how to create a favicon. You can create more attractive favicon for your blog.

[6] After creating a Favicon, save it as FAVICON.PNG or any other name you would like to give to your favicon. Be sure to save the favicon properly.

How to Upload Favicon to blogger ?
To upload favicon to blogger, Open your Blogger Dashboard.

[1] Open Blogger Dashboard. Click on Layouts Tab on the Left side of the Page.

[2] Click on EDIT link below the Favicon option.

[3] After clicking on edit, A dialog box will Appear. Click on choose file and select your favicon.png or favicon.jpeg or favicon.ico, etc.

[4] After finishing uploading, Click on Save Changes to save the favicon for your Blog, You will see the page as shown in the following image:(Screenshot)

Now, You will see the Favicon appears in your Blogger Blog.

Sizes eligible for favicon :

• 16 x 16

• 32 x 32

• 64 x 64

• 128 x 128

• 256 x 256

• 200 x 200

• 1000 x 1000

• 512 x 512

• 700 x 700

• or any other square size you wish.........

What is GADGET ID ?

GADGET ID is a unique ID that is given to Every Gadget or Widget in Blogger. You can Modify Gadgets in Template by using Gadget ID.

How to Find the Gadget ID ?

[1] First Open the Dashboard of Your Blog in Blogger.

[2] Click on LAYOUT in Left Tabs

[3] Now, Click on EDIT link of any GADGET, of Which you wish to find the GADGET ID.

[4] A Pop-Up window will appear. See the Address bar of the Pop-Up window. At last, You will find :

widgetId=yourwidgetID1

[5] The words written After widgetId="-------" is Your Widget ID or Gadget ID.

Thus, You can Find the Widget ID of any Widget in your Blog.

What is the use of Widget/Gadget ID ?

Gadget ID is very useful for finding the location of Gadget/Widget in Template's HTML Editor. You can select the Gadget Directly from the Template's HTML Editor.
